		<description>Dear Dr. Lakoff,

Thank you for writing "Don't Think of an Elephant." You've enabled me to finally understand my conservative friends and relatives--I was sure that they were insane.
You write with such clarity You put your ideas ahead of your ego--you know all the big words and you can weave them into long sentences with a dozen clauses, but you wanted to instruct your readers , so you wrote a book that ordinary Americans can easily understand.
On page 50 you write "Reframing is everybody's job." My friend and I want to begin talking about your reframing suggestions at meetings of our local Progressive Democrats of America (Sonoma County). Our hope would be that eventually all PDA groups will join this reframing project.
If you know of any other clubs or groups who are working on reframing, would you put us in touch with them?
And last of all, we would deeply appreicate any advice you would give us about teaching reframing. We're not asking for a lesson plan, but if you have any general dos and don'ts we'd be very grateful.

Most sincerely,
Marilyn Nelson
