I have been searching for information on where Davidson Loehr may be speaking or where I can find his latest views on world concerns. This was the first recent (not recent enough) article that I have found. Davidson if you read this, would you please let me know of your latest writings or speeches. I am from Kalamazoo; but please don't hold that against me. I like to think that as a member of the UUCC board back years ago, I was some what influential in providing the temporary position for you, after Peoples.
Your ideas have changed my life and continue to be very important to me.
This article was very reassuring. At this moment Obama is not getting the support he needs.
My next most important concern is the things I have read about Islam. Geert Wilder and Gingrich (never one of my favorite speakers), are leading the path to discredit the Islam belief and it appears to be with good cause. If the Muslim people will give their lives to convert all mankind, the US is in trouble. Our laws are set up to allow the entry and settlement of these people, regardless of their agenda. I am sure you have addressed this some where. Please lead me to your thoughts about this disturbing concept.

I and my wife Mary were privileged to hear a number of your sermons over several winters at UU of Austin. We are winter Texans from Marshalltown, Iowa who found something of substance in your messages. We are sorry that you are no longer able to enlighten the congregants at Austin UU. Now, we find ourselves only attending the forums there which have been outstanding this winter. On our way home from Austin last week, we listened to the audio book, American Fascists, The Conservative Right and the War on America by Chris Hedges. We thought of your book on Christian Fascism and how on the mark you are. To me, this ultra right group referred to as Dominionists is nothing but the American version of the Taliban. Our ears really perked up when your name mentioned in the dialogue.
Here's wishing you well. We hope to read more from you on ChelseaGreen.

After realizing for the first time that you are no longer at Austin UU, I began trying to locate you. I ran across this site and your articles. Having only read this one article, (and of course I completely agree with your hope and belief that this is what Obama is trying to do.) I checked dates and you didn't seem to have an entry after March. I will keep looking; but please keep publishing your views. The world needs them. I need them. Here's hoping we see more from Davidson Loehr. His blogs are almost as satisfying as some of the sermons he delivered at First UU in Austin. He's an expert with the language with ideas to go with it.

we dont need flying saucers to help us we wont have a planet to save when the demoncrats run it into the ground. Besides havent you heard 2012 the end of the world happens anyway
Big Asteroid or something is supposed to take out the planet.
And not only that but polar bears are drowning because of polar ice cap melting which is causing the oceans to rise so we will all be under water anyway.
So Republicans need not worry that the flying saucers arent coming. Obama and the demoncrats have their hands full with other matters LOL
