This is a fantastic book. Full of useful and applicable information for those interested in actually providing for themselves what modern agriculture cannot: nutrient-rich food year-round. Includes chapters on greenhouses, row covers, the importance of day-length to growing non-hardy crops at your latitude, root cellaring (and storing/keeping your harvested produce edible well after harvest), and a wonderful list of crops Coleman grows in his own four season garden.

Now, for a thorough book on actually preparing and eating from a four season garden!
